FINALLY, JOKOWI MEET PRABOWO, WHAT IS THE IMPACT? Oleh : Yando Sultan Wijaya

Finally, the elected president Joko Widodo or Jokowi has met with Prabowo Subianto, former the president candidate at Mass Rapid Transport or MRT station in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta. Before these meeting, Prabowo Subianto had accompained by the State Intelligence Agency/BIN chief, Budi Gunawan.
Politically, the success of Budi Gunawan to accomodate and conditioning these an informal meeting must be appreciated, because previously several retired general had been rumoursly made an efforts to realize it. Indeed, all of efforts had been failed. These phenomenon has shown that Budi Gunawan can be accepted rather than other state high rank officers.
The people of Indonesia have an imagine or hope about these meeting. They want strategic outcome will create at this meeting for the only purpose to protect all of the future national interest.
At least, obviously the people of Indonesia want positive impacts such as reducing political rivalry tensions, stoping social segregration through finishing political mock as “Cebong vs Kampret”, to create substantive political reconciliation, and last but not least to keep and guard all of national efforts to spur and to reactivate national economic condition.
We can also predict that there are possibility Gerindra will joint in the next cabinet after Jokowi-Prabowo meeting because the second term of Jokowi need conducive and stable situation. The next threat, opportunity and hurdles are more complex and more difficult to anticipate regarding unpredictable global, regional and national next uncertainty and turbulence.
