Protest Against Megawati’s Salary
President’s regulation on Pancasila Ideology Coaching Agency or known as BPIP’s boss was shocked Indonesian public mainly whose was rejected the amount of salaries of Megawati Soekarnoputri etc at BPIP. But President Jokowi has reiterated that his decision on Megawati and her colleagues at BPIP had been based on Treasury Ministry’s assessment and those did not violate any regulations in Indonesia.
Voicing similiar concern on these issues, many of politician in Indonesia such as the parliament chairman, Bambang Soesatyo, the chairman of Assembly Representative People of Indonesia, Zulkifli Hasan, vice secretary general of PDIP, Achmad Basarah etc had been said that BPIP top leader’s salary did not ethically to protest, because it was related to highly mandate for them to guide the government through BPIP to always maintain our national tenet, Pancasila.
I think Megawati Soekarnoputri, Try Soetrisno, Said Aqil Siradj and all of stakeholders at BPIP have seriously duty to protect, to coach, to socialiate and to deliver Pancasila’s norm and values among Indonesian people is not an easy mandate.
People will see and monitor the contribution of Megawati etc to give suggest, notion and guidance for BPIP to guard the implementation of Pancasila at whatever the government, legislative and judicative regulation’s. Megawati’s figure as Soekarno’s scion has been had serious position and function on those strategic and crucial duty, and because of that the government to appreciate and to support her duties with the enough salary, and I believe in Megawati Soekarnoputri that her motive does not pursuit higher salary at BPIP but she wants to give her best performance to help the government in the maintaining and guarding the existence of Pancasila in Indonesia.
In the coming days, if we learn from an external sides such as trends and forces, global key factors and competitors and comparing with an internal sides such as present strategy, resources and performance, the future contribution from Megawati and her colleagues at BPIP to control, to guide and to plan review including strategy and planing reassessment in the context guarding Pancasila from other transnational ideology threats and keeping Indonesia”s millenials youth to always love and implement Pancasila’s norms and values at their era are not an easy duties.
We must believe in their capacity to protect and to give smart notion how to keep and coaching Pancasila nowadays. And Megawati Soekarnoputri and her colleagues at BPIP with their long experiences in the practical politics and government experiences can be given their best performance. Wait and see. Hopefully.
